Now

Here's a snapshot of what I'm up to in January 2025

Family: Watching our almost one-year-old discover movement, reading and running around with our toddler, and building cozy winter fires.

Writing: Publishing The Ripple and revising a draft of my book on Intuitive Fitness.

Work: Running pilot programs and exploring co-founders for First Stone Health to help make exercise more accessible and enjoyable for people with chronic illnesses.

Movement: Mostly calisthenics, yoga, and strength stuff. Occasionally running around in the cold frozen woods.

Garden: Dreaming up projects and plantings for warmer days. Clearing out invasives and carving new paths in the woods.

Books: Reading There are Rivers in the Sky, The Autobiography of Teddy Roosevelt, and Near Enemies of the Truth. Waiting eagerly for the third Empyrean book.

Growth: Deepening into meditation, participating in Sons of Now, and playing with somatic practices.

Family: Savoring the early days with our newborn son. Playing outside with our 2-year-old daughter.

Writing: Publishing The Ripple and working on a first draft of my book on Intuitive Fitness.

Work: Introducing exercise and wellness interventions to healthcare and corporate settings. Advising business owners and executives.

Movement: Learning new calisthenic skills, running slowly in the woods, and exploring contact improv.

Garden: Doing site prep and clearing out invasive overgrowth. Planting cover crops and wildflowers. Building infrastructure for chickens and goats.

Growth: Enjoying my open awareness meditation practice. Participating in Sons of Now, led by Alex Olshonsky. Rereading "The Overstory".
